Regine Neumann was born in Germany and is now living and working in Sherbrooke, Quebec. After her degree (B.A.) in Fine Arts, Studio Honours from Bishop’s University in 2011, she continued her personal research in sculpture, focusing on large-scale outdoor pieces in concrete. More recent work has shifted focus on working with scavenged or natural materials on temporary installations constructed in collaboration with nature. Her work has been represented in national and international out-door sculpture shows, or was realized in-situ for nature or environmental art projects and residencies in
Canada, USA, Japan and Taiwan.
